What is Vidhwa Yojna?

The UP Widow Pension Scheme (विधवा पेंशन योजना) is a welfare program by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, offering financial support to poor widowed women. The pension has increased from ₹500 to ₹1000 per month.

Eligible women must be residents of UP, widowed, not availing any other pension scheme, and their household income must not exceed ₹2 lakh annually.

3. Select “पेंशनर सूची (2024-25)”
4. Choose district → block → gram panchayat
5. Click on pensioners number to view list

Apply Online for UP Widow Pension Scheme 2025

To apply online:

1. Go to sspy-up.gov.in
2. Click “निराश्रित महिला पेंशन”
3. Click “ऑनलाइन आवेदन करें”
4. Fill the form and upload documents
5. Click “Final Submit” and print application

Submit the printout to the nearest DSWO / DPO / DHWO office within a month.
